At Yamil Craft, we never compromise when it comes to the quality of our wool. All of our rugs are crafted using wool sheared from sheep that graze in the mountainous regions of Northern Afghanistan ensuring the finest possible quality.
2. KPSI(Knots Per Square Inch)
KPSI is the knot density comparable with small pixels on digital screens; the higher the KPSI, the better the quality. Weaving a rug with higher KPSI takes longer but provides greater durability and extends its lifespan.
3. Organic Dyes
We have made a deliberate choice to utilize natural and vegetable root dyes for our wool, as opposed to inexpensive chemical dyes. Not only do these natural dyes provide vibrant and long-lasting colors, but they also have minimal impact on the environment.
