This unique combination of rich colors, complimented by perfect ratio of geometric patterns was first founded during 1970s by the legendry rug master Mr. Khal Mohammad. Made from 100% wool often deep red is used as base color in Khal Mohammadi rugs, obtained from natural root dyes.

Khal Mohammadi rugs have soft pile and shiny texture, they shift color to deeper red when viewed from reversed angle.
